The Springs at Borrego RV Resort & Golf Course
The Springs at Borrego was a much needed R&R stop after spending 11 days in the desert boondocking. We had 3 weeks of boondocking ahead of us at the Xscapers Convergence in Quartzsite, Arizona so we wanted a nice place to call home for a few days before our event. We wanted a place where we could recharge not only the coaches batteries but also our own in their hot mineral baths and saltwater pool.
We would never pay this much to park but since we had been doing so well with our daily average of parking costs we decided to splurge. Total cost to park here for 3 nights was $199.75 and that was with our Escapees Discount Park discount (15% off). OUCH!!! Again this was not normal for us and we took full advantage of many of the parks amenities had to offer.
Everyday we soaked in the mineral baths and pool. We also took advantage of their very clean and affordable laundry room where we were able to wash our sheets and blankets as our onboard washer and dryer struggles with the larger loads. While there we also took some long HOT uninterrupted showers in one of their four shower rooms available by the pool. We never partook in a game of golf but the course looked well maintained for desert conditions. There were two dog parks within the resort and Spirit and Sofi enjoyed both of them immensely. The tennis courts across from our site were well used by pickle ball players though out the day as well.
If you want spacious parking, clean sites, gracious hosts, and amazing soaking pools then The Springs at Borrego is your place, just be sure to bring your wallet because its going to cost you a shiny penny or a couple of un-crinkled Benjamins to stay here… but you wont be sorry.
Stay tuned as I plan to do a YouTube review of this park soon! Just have to find time to put the footage together.
