RV to Alaska: Southbound on the Cassiar Highway and Free Camping #RVAlaska

We begin the 543 miles southbound down the Cassiar Highway and find two great free boondocking campsites to camp overnight for free. The first is French Creek Recreation Site just North of Good Hope Lake 38 miles south of the Alaska Highway and the second is on a Forest Service Road called Willow Creek Forest Service Road south of Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park and 2 hours south of Dease Lake. While on the way we stop of Jade City, BC where approximately 90% of the world’s jade is mined from the Cassiar Mountains. Jade City boasts a Jade Store, post office, a 40-site RV campground, a small playground and a highway maintenance camp. Oh yes and you can camp for free at Jade City but we kept on trucking south towards Dease Lake. (Season 2 Episode 78)

We are trying to upload to our channel 3 times a week and have come up with the following video schedule:
~Maintenance Monday’s where we showcase products, gizmos and gadgets we use that help maintain our RV.
~Wanderlust Wednesday’s where we focus on our travels and adventure.
~Friday Night Chats where we come to you live if signal permits and discuss what we have been up to for the past week.
