RVing Alaska: Drive from Chitina to Glenallen & FREE overnight parking in Glenallen ??

We leave the McCarthy-Kennicott area behind and depart Chitina, Alaska and head towards Glenallen on the Edgerton and Richardson Highways. Along the way we view the transition to fall colors in the middle of August and encounter some frost heaves along the way. We end our day parked for free at the Glenallen IGA market where we restock the pantry and get some great thai food at the Thai Tok food stand.
