Rving Alaska: Exploring Talkeetna including 2 local festivals and a jet boat ride.

We leave Teklanika Campground and Denali National Park behind and head south towards Anchorage and as we near the town of Talkeetna we find a great boondocking location on the banks of the Susitna River. While parked for free over the weekend we find lots to do in the area with a Live at Five event in Talkeetna and a Fireweed Festival in Trapper Creek and then we take a ride aboard the Talkeetna Queen with Mahays Jet Boat Adventures to an Athabascan Fish Camp. (Season 2 – Episode 40)
